Position Overview Hobart Wealth, in independent private wealth firm, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our dedicated and exceptional team, working closely with a Senior Wealth Manager to deliver exceptional service and strategic financial planning to our clients. The Associate Financial Advisor will collaborate with various team members, including the Client Service Specialist, Lead Wealth Manager, Lead Investment Strategist, and Director of Strategic Growth, to ensure a comprehensive and personalized wealth management experience. Responsibilities
1. Client Service and Relationship Management
o Assist the Senior Wealth Manager in managing and developing client relationships, ensuring each client feels valued and understood.
o Act as a reliable point of contact for client inquiries, coordinating with the Client Service Specialist to handle routine service requests, account updates, and administrative needs.
o Participate in regular client review meetings, providing financial insights and addressing client concerns with professionalism and clarity.
o Ensure timely follow-up on client interactions, maintaining a high level of satisfaction and proactive communication.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis
o Support the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial plans in alignment with clients' goals and objectives, reviewing and updating them as necessary.
o Work closely with the Lead Investment Strategist to ensure investments are matching tailored investment recommendations that align with Hobart Wealth's strategies.
3. Operational Support and Coordination
o Partner with the Client Service Specialist to ensure seamless execution of account management activities, such as new client onboarding, transfers, client trading and other account-related transactions.
o Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for client meetings, including gathering relevant data entry/gathering, report building, scendario projections, investment reviews, preparing deliverables, and documenting meeting notes and action items.
o Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the CRM system, ensuring adherence to firm and regulatory compliance standards.
4. Professional Development and Team Collaboration
o Engage in ongoing learning and professional development, including pursuing relevant certifications as desired (FPGP, Series 65 or CFP®) and attending industry seminars.
o Collaborate actively with our other advisory teams to develop and share best practices, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery across all clients.
o Contribute to team meetings and strategic discussions, offering insights and innovative ideas to enhance the client experience and Hobart Wealth’s overall growth and impact.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (required).
• 1-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related financial services role.
• Progress toward or interest in pursuing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is highly preferred.
• Experience in / proficiency with financial planning or tax planning software, and CRM systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is a must.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial planning principles, and industry regulations is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset is essential.
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple client needs and prioritize effectively.
