Serve as the lead advisor for client families, delivering on all aspects of wealth management to clients and prospects in our Guilford, Connecticut office. Maintain proactive, professional communication with clients and colleagues to ensure an excellent client experience is delivered. Maintain a high standard of compliance in all aspects of the business.
Exencial supports its advisors through a centralized Portfolio Management Team, Trading Team, and Tax and Complex Planning Team. This position will work closely with clients to determine a suitable portfolio given the client's financial planning needs and collaborate with the Trading Team to implement it.
DESCRIPTION
- Deliver excellent wealth management services to clients and prospects.
- Effectively deliver advice to clients including:
- Portfolio Allocation and Reviews
- Financial Planning, including the creation and communication of financial
plans with clients and prospects
- Implement trades and money movements as appropriate.
- Prepare and send meeting summaries, including full summaries of most
pertinent issues discussed in client meetings, recommendations, and next
actions for all parties to implement. Summaries should be sent no later
than 2nd business day following the meeting.
- Maintain comprehensive pro-active communication using Salesforce CRM.
- Build and establish trust and rapport with these clients through continued professional contact.
- Liaise with the Tax Team for tax projections, preparation, and filing.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with other colleagues and business liaisons outside of the local team (i.e. accountants, lawyers, other COIs, etc.).
- Respond to and ensure incoming account or investment-based client calls, e-mails, communications, faxes, and inquiries are responded to in a quick, efficient manner – 4 business hours or less.
- Provide quick and effective responses and resolution to client account or investment issues ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, completeness and accuracy.
- Review estate planning documents and generate summaries and recommendations on potential updates and changes, based on each family’s unique life and financial stages.
- Understand, analyze, and present advanced estate planning and tax strategies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Specific Requirements:
- CFP© designation desired
- Series 65
- 5+ years of experience delivering financial planning in a client-facing role
- Knowledgeable in Asset Allocation and Portfolio Risk Management
- Experienced with general investment products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.)
- Experienced using and preparing financial plans using planning software (eMoney preferred
- Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with or a working understanding of contact management software (SalesForce and Tamarac preferred)
