Our wealth management client in Midtown is seeking an advisor coordinator to work alongside wealth management advisors assisting with client service support, applications, and on-boarding.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain client list and case files
- E-file and hard file investment and insurance related documents
- Maintain calendar, schedule follow-up appointments and client reviews
- Maintain underwriting and client service logs
- Take client/prospect reservations for marketing events such as seminars; Assist in preparation of seminar materials and event mailings, as well as assist at events
- Marketing initiatives to generate referrals and new leads
Client Service: Insurance, Annuities, and Investments
- Pre-check and prepare new applications and onboarding forms for completeness and accuracy
- Arrange medical, paramedical and any exams necessary for underwriting
- Follow-up mailing of forms to clients/prospects
- Handle client service for account changes, underwriting follow up, investment paperwork and communicate account details
- Communicate with Home Office and clients as needed to supply underwriting and policy information
- Communicate with Pershing and clients as needed to facilitate rollovers and account transfers
- Track and regularly update case-open inventory list
- Track and address investment alerts for discretionary portfolios Financial Analysis
- Input personal financial information and investment data into planning software
- Run insurance illustrations, investment proposals, planning analysis, excel spreadsheets and basic accounting
- Print proposals and maintain client e-files
- Update client analyses for annual reviews to track progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, ability to multitask, and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, including word and excel
- Knowledge of social sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
- Diligent, responsible, and reliable - people trust you because you care and can get it done
- Team oriented attitude with the confidence to give and receive constructive criticism and feedback
