Lead Financial Advisor
Location: Pittsfield, MA: Full time, Hybrid
(Must be able to commute several days each week to Pittsfield, MA)
Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 (salary + projected incentive compensation)

We are looking for a Lead Advisor to join our office in Pittsfield, MA. As the Lead Advisor, you will lead client meetings to understand each client’s individual goals and needs, create and implement holistic financial plans to meet them, and create lasting client relationships for an elevated client service experience. You will drive client retention and acquisition and take end-to-end ownership of the financial planning and relationship management process.

As a Lead Advisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Acquiring new clients through referrals by providing superior client service, by acting as an ambassador of the firm to the community, and by participating in firm sponsored community outreach events
- Defining and executing business development and client acquisition targets
- Leading client meetings to assess their financial goals and taking the time to build deep, lasting relationships with each client
- Creating holistic financial plans which combine cash flow analysis, investment management, insurance, retirement, tax, and estate planning
- Implementing existing investment strategies and providing input while utilizing the firm’s investment philosophy to monitor portfolios
- Contributing to the team's success by providing support, assistance, and expertise. This involves working collaboratively with others, sharing knowledge, and helping to solve problems.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years’ experience as a Financial Advisor in a planning capacity
- Series 65 license
- CFP Designation, or willingness to work toward obtaining one as soon as possible, paid for by the firm
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- A track record of successful business development and client acquisition
- Experience in working with financial planning software (experience with eMoney or MoneyGuidePro a plus)
- Experience with a CRM system (Wealthbox experience a plus)
- Ability to coordinate efforts with team members to accomplish tasks and deliver results on time and in good order
- Willingness to act as an ambassador for the firm to our clients as well as others in the local community
