Our client, an award winning wealth management and planning practice in Fairfield County, CT, is hiring a Practice Director/ Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Lead and Oversee Best-In-Class Practice Operations
- Input on role design/ workflows
- Oversee daily operations and role execution
- Assist and engage as needed to improve outcomes and deliverable quality/ completeness
- Refine, document and implement scalable and repeatable practice processes and procedures
- Benchmark other top practices when possible
- Lead HR initiatives as delegated by Founding Partner
Create a Culture of Success
- Lead An Upbeat, Highly Motivated, High-Performance Team
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth for each team member
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Work with Founding Partners to identify activities and initiatives that support team morale and team member reward, recognition and retention; spearhead execution
- Work with office to address any facilities, work environment and resourcing needs
Ensure a World Class Client Experience
- Ensure consistency in meeting and exceeding client expectations
- Look for opportunities to streamline processes without diminishing quality or the client experience
- Look for opportunities to improve the client experience without creating internal friction points or constraining resources
- Step in to manage and resolve difficult client situations or client service issues
- Collaborate to identify and execute coordinated marketing initiatives that support the strategic direction and initiatives of the firm
Create Leverage for The Team
- Act as point on internal, practice management initiatives (projects, compliance needs, vendor management, etc)
- Look for opportunities to provide leverage and proactively solve current and potential problems
- Contribute to the strategic direction and growth initiatives of the firm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five years of operations and/or leadership experience
- Experience in operations with a wealth management/financial planning firm
- Active investment licenses preferred
- Ability to be in the office 5 days a week
