Insurance Operations Associate
Our client, an award winning wealth management and financial planning practice, is looking for an Insurance Operations Associate to help the team run an efficient practice. The right candidate should have strong attention to detail, possess great organizational skills and create a first class client experience. The right candidate should be familiar with the onboarding and underwriting experience for the insurance side of a client’s plan.
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
· New Client Onboarding:
· Creating illustrations
· Process insurance applications
· Guides clients through the underwriting process and communicates with clients about next steps in the process
· Process client service request (e.g. address changes, beneficiary changes etc.).
· Maintain Status Report and call clients who need to pay their bill.
· Serve as a liaison between the clients and the insuring company.
· Schedule medical exams and Attending Physician’s Statements
· Update client files in the CRM system
· Help on various projects
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· Preferred financial services and insurance experience
- Life and Health Insurance license (or must obtain in first 90 days)
· High attention to details and organizational skill
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
· Capable of working interdependently with others and effectively providing feedback to team members
