Job Summary:This position serves clients in a collaborative team structure and is the primary client point person. This position has high growth potential, including the opportunity to develop into SYM ownership. Responsibilities include coordination for area marketing, community presence and brand image. Confident leadership and accountability for new business development activities is important to success in the role.
Duties and Responsibilities:· Manage a group of clients, leading a team of people providing these clients with investment management, financial planning and/or trust services.
· Key driver of new business development for the office.
· Network with local attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals to ensure favorable visibility of SYM services in the market.
· Accountable to prioritize community visibility at events and ensure favorable company presence and support.
· Position may grow to serve in a supervisory capacity – including growth planning, managing, training, and developing a team of advisors, trust officers and client service representatives while fostering a strong team-oriented, positive culture.
Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field, and graduate work including J.D. or MBA preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CPA, CFP®, CTFA preferred.
· At least 5 years of professional experience.
· Working knowledge of financial planning, tax planning, estate planning, and trust administration.
· Demonstrated involvement in the local community.
· Experience with state and federal compliance laws and practices.
· Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
· Excellent communicator, exuding positivity and humility, promotor of the SYM culture, caring, compassionate, self-motivated and determined to define and achieve success.
Salary and Benefits:Pay / benefits are very competitive based on industry standards.· Pay will be based on experience. Performance reviewed 90 days from date of hire. Thereafter, performance is informally reviewed each calendar quarter and formally reviewed at year end.
