Associate Advisor – Second Chair & Service
Job Description
The Associate Advisor serves as a second chair and service advisor to a Founding Advisor.
The Associate Advisor will be present in client meetings with the Founding Advisor to take notes and build the relationship with the client. The Associate Advisor will have the responsibility to execute certain case work and delegate other tasks necessary to other team members.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for financial planning and the client experience. This a growth role with the long-term intention to transition clients from Founding Advisor to the Second Chair Advisor.
Primary Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
· Be present in client meetings with our Founding Advisor to take notes, add value and build the relationship with the client.
· Facilitate the opening and closing of client review meeting and support Founding advisor in other elements of the discussion
· Prepare materials for client meetings and gather necessary data and information to do so
· Develop personalized wealth management plans tailored to the client’s unique financial circumstances, incorporating investment strategies, risk management, estate planning, and tax optimization under the guidance of the Founder advisor
· Generate case notes from all client meetings which clearly and compliantly document the discussion and recommendations and store in CRM system.
· Foster and nurture strong, long-term relationships with firm’s existing clients to understand their financial objectives, identify opportunities to provide additional value and growth of assets under management.
· Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions that exceed client expectations
· Uphold compliance standards and ethical guidelines while delivering high-quality advice.
· Lead semi-weekly workflow meeting to manage and track all client activity for Founding advisor
- Be the primary point of contact with client triaging questions and other touchpoints in between review meetings.
Required Skills
Bachelor Degree
5+ years’ experience as an advisor
Licenses: Series 7 & 66, Life & Health
CFP® preferred; working towards the CFP®
Location: Remote
Salary: 80-100k
