The Panther Group is seeking an Client Service Associate with a well-established institutional asset management firm, focused on managing equity portfolios for institutional clients.
Key Details:
- Responsibilities are centered on data analysis, data presentation, and responding to RFPs.
- Strong presentation development skills are essential.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
- Experience with tools such as FactSet, Barra, and similar platforms is a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
- Someone with a strong eye for detail, capable of creating high-quality presentations, and comfortable working behind the scenes to support the investment team and business development efforts.
Responsibilities include:
- Produce client, consultant, and prospective client reports
- Assist in preparing and managing RFPs and questionnaires by drafting responses, producing requested data and reports, and assembling detailed support information
- Assist in preparing and managing email campaigns
- Update and help manage consultant databases
- Use third-party portfolio analysis systems to gather data and create reports
- Assist in preparing materials for client, consultant, and prospective client meetings
This position requires a skilled professional who has strong analytical skills, shows exceptional attention to detail, and is a good communicator.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience in a fast-paced corporate office environment, preferably in the finance industry
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, Math or related field is required
- Experience with RFP support and response required
- Exposure to portfolio and/or performance analysis software a plus
- Familiarity with investment performance and portfolio characteristics data
- Attention to detail
- Strong project and time management skills
- Excellent computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook
