Pierson Wealth Management is hiring a CFP®-certified Paraplanner to join our team in Santa Clarita, California. This role requires a highly-organized and efficient financial planning professional who thrives in a fast paced environment.
This is a strictly in-person position with a prompt 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily schedule, Monday through Friday. Applicants must live locally or plan to relocate to the area.
As Paraplanner, you will act as a vital link between Advisor Planning and Client Service Operations. You’ll focus on preparing and implementing financial plans, supporting client meetings, and managing a segment of client relationships. Your work enables the Lead Advisor to focus on strategic growth while you ensure seamless plan execution and a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Client Strategy
• Collaborate with the Lead Advisor to independently design, update, and implement financial plans
• Lead or co-lead client review meetings for your assigned segment
• Prepare polished pre-meeting materials including financial projections, tax summaries, and investment updates
• Provide timely post-meeting follow-up and support for both existing and prospective clients
• Take an active Second-Chair Advisor role in a smaller segment of client meetings
Client Service Oversight
• Supervise and mentor Client Service Associates using the EOS method
• Ensure the timely and accurate implementation of planning and investment strategies
• Maintain CRM task tracking and data integrity
• Deliver professional service and respond to client inquiries within 24 hours
Sales Management
• Track and manage follow-up items and planning opportunities
• Identify gaps and proactively suggest planning or portfolio solutions
• Maintain an organized and actionable pipeline of planning and sales opportunities
Team & Culture Engagement
• Contribute to a positive, accuracy-driven office culture
• Participate in internal meetings, strategy sessions, and training
• Attend and support marketing, client, and educational events (minimum 4 per quarter)

Qualifications
• CFP® certification required or in active progress
• Life insurance license required or willingness to obtain
• 3–5 years in financial planning, wealth management, or client service within an RIA or advisory firm
• Proficient in financial planning tools (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro), CRM systems (RedTail, Salesforce), and portfolio software
• Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and high follow-through - we are seeking a true polished professional
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and meet deadlines consistently

• Financial plans are delivered on time and followed up within 2 business days
• Clients receive consistent, professional service with responses within 24 hours
• 10+ new revenue-generating opportunities identified per quarter with 50%+ conversion
• Uphold KPI of new revenue identified through client reviews each quarter
• Manage ongoing revenue opportunities maintained in CRM pipeline
• Hold timely and accurate client reviews with high client satisfaction and strategic insight
• Active participation in client, marketing, or networking events each quarter
• Positive contribution to firm culture, operations, and growth
