We’re growing and seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Planner to lead our planning team, elevate our client deliverables, and drive the expansion of our client-facing services.
Role Overview
The Senior Financial Planner will oversee and mentor planning associates and analysts, ensuring the highest quality of financial planning outputs. This role is instrumental in innovating and enhancing the firm’s client-facing materials and service offerings, directly impacting client satisfaction and the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Quality Control: Review, refine, and approve financial planning analyses, reports, and recommendations
- Client Experience Enhancement: Expand and build new client-facing items, tools, and services to meet evolving client needs
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with advisors and leadership to innovate planning processes and maintain best-in-class service standards
- Client Interaction: Participate in high-level client meetings to present planning recommendations and support advisor relationships
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial plans and conduct tax planning using custom analysis tools in Excel. Stay current on topics such as wealth transfer strategies, complex retirement needs, Social Security, and tax planning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of financial planning experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFP® designation required, Additional professional designations preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning topics, including retirement, tax, insurance, and estate planning
- Prior tax experience preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to balance big-picture strategy with attention to detail
Compensation Range
· $90,000 - $150,000, dependent on Experience
