Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Investment Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment management and possess the necessary licenses to effectively conduct rollover calls, prepare investment proposals, execute trades, and provide comprehensive investment reviews. This role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure optimal portfolio management and tax-efficient strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rollover Calls: Conduct client calls to discuss rollover options and strategies. Assist clients in transitioning assets seamlessly while providing expert guidance.
- Investment Proposals: Prepare detailed investment proposals tailored to client needs and goals. Analyze market trends and investment opportunities to recommend optimal strategies.
- Trading and Portfolio Management:
- Execute trades, including portfolio rebalancing and tax loss harvesting, to align with client objectives and market conditions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and make adjustments as necessary to optimize returns and risk management.
- Manage and process required minimum distributions (RMDs) to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate backdoor Roth conversions and other strategic tax maneuvers to optimize client portfolios.
- Investment Reviews: Prepare comprehensive investment reviews, analyzing portfolio performance and providing insights and recommendations to clients.
- Tax Analysis: Conduct tax analysis for portfolio transitions to identify tax-eicient strategies and minimize liabilities.
Qualifications:
- Licenses: Must hold SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 and achieve Life, Accident, and Health (LAH) license within first 3 months
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the investment industry.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of wealth management, financial planning principles, and investment strategies.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision- making.
- Proficient in financial software and tools used for portfolio management and analysis.
