We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our investment team. This individual will play a key role in managing client portfolios, conducting investment research, and collaborating with advisors to deliver superior investment solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
Trading & Execution
- Execute trades across multiple asset classes with an emphasis on best execution and efficiency.
- Monitor market liquidity, trading costs, and risk exposures.
- Collaborate with the CIO and investment team to optimize trading strategies.
Risk Management & Performance Analysis
- Continuously assess and manage portfolio risk at the security, sector, and asset-class levels.
- Conduct performance attribution analysis and report on key drivers of returns.
- Ensure compliance with client mandates, firm policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Portfolio Management & Investment Strategy
- Manage discretionary client portfolios in alignment with firm strategies and client objectives.
- Develop and implement asset allocation strategies across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Monitor and rebalance portfolios based on market conditions, risk parameters, and client needs.
Research & Investment Selection
- Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on individual securities, funds, and asset classes.
- Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities across public and private markets.
- Maintain and enhance investment models and portfolio construction methodologies.
Client & Advisor Communication
- Work closely with financial advisors to align investment strategies with client objectives.
- Participate in client meetings, articulating portfolio decisions and market perspectives.
- Contribute to thought leadership, including investment commentary and presentations.
Required Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of portfolio management, investment research, or related experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Morningstar, Y-Charts, Refinitiv, and trading platforms.
- Regulatory: Series 7 and 63 or ability to obtain licensing as required.
