POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Financial Advisor to join our team at SCS in Bellevue, Washington. As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will be crucial in providing financial guidance and support to our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work closely with senior advisors to develop financial strategies for clients.
- Meets with clients to gather, discuss, and understand personal financial information such as current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial goals, investment objectives, risk tolerance, and other information necessary for financial planning.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and research to provide tailored recommendations.
- Assist in the creation of financial plans and investment portfolios.
- Collaborate with clients to address their financial goals and concerns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
- Maintain necessary licenses, including Series 65 and Washington State life and disability insurance licenses.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Assist in client meetings and presentations.
- Handle administrative tasks related to client accounts.
- Adhere to the firm’s compliance requirements.
- Communicating with clients and internal staff to resolve account-related issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Extensive knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in: Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial institution or advisory role.
- Series 65 license.
- Licensed in Washington State for life and disability insurance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Core Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri.
- Computer Use: Analyzing data, software, and reports.
- Client Meetings: Occasional regional travel.
- Deadline-Driven: Occasional extended hours.
- Professional Attire: Business dress code.
- Physical Requirements: Desk-based, prolonged sitting.
