Our client, an award winning wealth management firm in Western, MA is hiring a financial advisor to serve as their Director of Retirement Plans.
The right candidate should have existing plans business relationships and experience. The right candidate should have a passion for building a business unit inside of an existing firm.
The key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Collaborate with firm owner to create and execute the plan for our retirement plans division. This includes goal planning, tracking and process building.
- The Director of Retirement Plans will be the firm’s Lead Advisor in the group retirement plan space. The majority of time in the role should be spent meeting with business owners/employers to deliver a world class client experience for them and their employees. The role will be responsible for maintaining and growing revenue from existing relationships.
- The Director of Retirement Plans will also be responsible for prospecting to new clients in the benefits space.
- The Director of Retirement Plans will manage the firm’s processes including:
- Open enrollments
- Fund selection and performance tracking
- Participant education experiences
- Plan Compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years in financial planning and wealth management
- 3+ years in the retirement plans business
- Series 65
Base salary will depend on experience.
