Licensed Premier Relationship Banker (Licensed 7/66, Life/Health)

Position Summary:
The Licensed Premier Banker (PB) builds strong customer relationships by providing expert sales and service assistance while offering valuable financial solutions. As a Licensed Banker and a branch-based lender, the PB is responsible for deposit acquisition, uncovering, writing and referring investment opportunities, originating and completing consumer loans, including home equity loans, all while managing and growing their assigned branches’ long-term customer relationships.
The PB will seamlessly facilitate a relationship between the firm, Residential Lending and their branch footprints, which may consist of multiple branch locations. The PB is a pivotal driver of exceptional in-branch customer experiences, with a focus on driving deposit acquisition, consumer lending, and investment revenue. The PB will proactively call customers, set appointments, identify investment, lending and deposit opportunities, recommend appropriate products, and refer to a Financial Advisor and/or Mortgage Loan Partner, as appropriate.
Essential Job Functions:
Sales Excellence:
• Proactively make outbound sales calls to both existing and prospective customers
• Set proactive appointments with existing and prospective customers utilizing the the firm's customer journey to identify new sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed established activity and sales goals
• Originate, process, and complete consumer loan applications, including home equity loans, while adhering to bank policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify customer needs for lending, investment, and banking products; recommend suitable solutions or refer appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales tracking reports, to include consistent use of the firm's connect.
• Travel to designated branches a necessary to meet customers’ needs

Employee Development:
• Provide guidance and support to junior Universal Bankers, imparting knowledge about investment and retirement services, lending opportunities and increasing referrals in the branch footprints.

Other Qualification Standards:
1. Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards/requirements including meeting and qualitative or quantitative productivity standards.
2. Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual and regular attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards/requirements.
3. Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (preferred)
• FINRA Series 7, 66 and life health NYS insurance license
• Must have a valid Driver’s license
• Demonstrate financial product understanding
• Proven track record of successful outbound sales and customer relationship management
• Proficiency in financial software applications and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Effective coaching and mentoring capabilities, as evidenced by prior experience.
