Our client is looking for highly motivated and ambitious private wealth management professionals who possess a passion for the markets and are devoted to client service. Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills are essential. This role is for an immediate start in their Boston office.
The firm is a freshly launched RIA, more than twenty years in the making. Led by 2 industry veterans, their wealth management business provides financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of ultra-high net worth clients, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments. They are already one of the largest RIAs in the country, and growth and success are driven by a relentless focus on our team and our clients.
The team works one-on-one with clients to deliver, advise and effect customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience and diverse wealth management capabilities. The team has an open architecture allowing us to provide best-in-class offerings across the full spectrum of available investment opportunities. Their view of comprehensive wealth management extends far beyond investing to include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services.
As a member of the team, you will have direct client contact, playing a critical role impacting the financial success of our sophisticated clients. You will build deep relationships across the financial industry while orchestrating a seamless client experience. Your expertise will be vital in managing the complex and sensitive onboarding of new client relationships, proactively mitigating fraud risk, executing critical trades, and optimizing liquidity.
YOU WILL
- Leverage your interpersonal skills to contribute to a successful and growing business
- Act as key point of contact for ultra-high net worth clients while working closely with advisors and teammates to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Introduce clients to the firm's offerings including client reporting, digital capabilities and banking services
- Oversee asset movements, portfolio implementations and leverage your understanding of estate planning and tax concepts
- Execute, process and reconcile trading and other investment related transactions
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
- Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet highly collaborative environment
- Meticulous attention to detail is a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
- Strong interest in client service
- 1-3 years experience in client service and/or the financial industry is preferred.
- Employees are required to be fully licensed investment advisors within three months of employment by either having or obtaining:
- Series 65; or
- SIE, Series 7 and 63; or
- An active Professional Designation: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC) or Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).
Salary: $100-150k
