Private Wealth Advisor
The Private Wealth Advisor should have deep planning acumen and can help the firm grow by serving incoming marketing leads, create opportunities in their own network and work with founder to identify opportunities within the existing book. This is a salaried role with variable compensation and potential progression towards equity.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Client Acquisition:
• Lead the full front-end client experience: discovery, proposal, and action conversations.
- Prospective clients from marketing and referral channels as well as the advisor's own personal observation
• Maintain disciplined progression of opportunities through next-step setting and proactive follow-up.
- Work with founder and other senior advisor to identifying planning opportunities with existing clients.
• Handle objections effectively and differentiate the firm’s value proposition for new prospects.
• Take accountability for outcomes from first meeting through long-term client retention.
- Be a thought partner with the CEO to continue to drive firm growth
Planning Discovery and Implementation:
- Create financial plans for clients with complex situations and ensure seamless onboarding.
· Deeply understand the financial planning process and relevant tools (e.g., RightCapital, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro)
· Work collaboratively with other members of the team to develop and deliver financial plans for new prospects and existing clients.
· Personally shepherd the relationship through onboarding and account transfer until assets arrive.
-Sit in meetings with existing clients to discover new planning opportunities
Provide ongoing advice and relationship management for assigned advisor relationships.
· Deliver comprehensive financial planning, ongoing portfolio advice, and proactive client communication.
· Conduct regular client reviews and update plans as circumstances change.
· Identify and act on opportunities for deeper engagement (planning, tax, estate, held-away assets).
EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS NEEDED
· 5+ years as a successful financial advisor or practice leader
· Expertise in holistic financial planning, investment strategy, and long-term client relationships.
· CFP credentials.
