Marketing Coordinator
Position Overview and Purpose
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing the firm's marketing, branding, and client engagement initiatives. This individual works closely with the leadership team, Private Wealth Advisors, and other team members to support business development, strengthen the firm's brand, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate marketing campaigns, client communications, educational events, digital marketing efforts, and business development initiatives that increase brand awareness, deepen client relationships, and support the firm's continued growth. This position is ideal for an organized, creative, and self-motivated marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Specific Responsibilities Include, But Will Not Be Limited To:
• Execute the firm's annual marketing and communications plan in alignment with the firm's strategic goals.
• Coordinate client communications including newsletters, email campaigns, market updates, event invitations, and educational content.
• Develop, edit, and maintain marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, client guides, videos, and digital content.
• Manage and update the firm's website, blog, social media channels, and other digital marketing platforms.
• Coordinate educational seminars, webinars, client appreciation events, and community outreach activities.
• Partner with Private Wealth Advisors to develop marketing materials supporting client acquisition, referrals, and engagement.
• Execute lead generation campaigns and assist in tracking marketing activity and campaign effectiveness.
• Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
• Monitor website analytics, email metrics, social media engagement, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate relationships with designers, printers, promotional vendors, photographers, videographers, and marketing partners.
• Maintain the firm's marketing calendar, digital asset library, branded templates, and marketing resources.
• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and marketing best practices.
• Assist with special projects and other marketing initiatives.
Education and Industry Experience Required
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or business development.
• Professional, ethical, and committed to outstanding client service.
• Passionate about continuous learning and collaboration.
Desired
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
• Experience within an RIA, wealth management, financial services, banking, insurance, or professional services firm.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Wealthbox, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Redtail.
• Familiarity with email marketing, CMS platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media tools.
• Basic understanding of wealth management and financial planning.
• Experience coordinating client events, seminars, or appreciation events.
Additional Requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to learn CRM, financial planning, portfolio management, and marketing automation platforms.
• Strong proofreading, editing, and presentation design skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
