Our client, a growing financial planning practice based in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a salaried Lead Financial Advisor with a focus in business development.
The primary responsibility of the lead financial advisor is to attract new clients to the practice and assist them in their comprehensive planning needs.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a client facing financial advisor and a passion for the planning process. The ideal candidate will be an effective prospector and value the support of working closely with a senior advisor and support staff. Success in this role could potentially lead to a pathway to partnership in the practice.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· The primary focus of this role is new business development by using your own efforts, network and creativity to attract clients to the practice.
· The advisor will work with clients on their investments, insurance, advanced planning and other financial needs in a holistic fashion. This will be conducted through discovery meetings, plan presentations and review meetings to ensure the client’s goals and recommendations remain aligned.
· The advisor will work closely with the practice owner/senior advisor to understand the planning philosophy and the client experience. This includes being present in client meetings with the senior advisor.
· The advisor will collaborate with the planning, service and operations team on analysis, recommendations, tracking and service items. This support will allow the advisor to spend time on client facing and prospecting activities.
· Potentially work with an existing client segment to update plans and recommendations, ensure a first - class experience and get referred to other clients.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 3+ years of client facing, prospecting and financial planning experience
· Series 7 and 66 and LAH insurance license
· Working towards the CFP ® designation
· Must be able to:
· Network and build meaning relationships with executives, business owners and high potential professionals
· Be coachable
