Service Advisor
Profile Summary
The Service Advisor position provides comprehensive support to Lead Advisors. This role focuses on handling administrative tasks related to client accounts, ensuring a smooth client experience, and adhering to firm policies and regulations. The Service Advisor is committed to providing exceptional customer service and assists advisors as a secondary point of contact for day-to-day client needs.
Core Responsibilities
• Provide operational support to multiple financial advisors by preparing reports and materials for client meetings.
• Support office initiatives, team meetings, and marketing events; maintain appropriate materials for meetings and events.
• Collaborate as part of the relationship team for firm clients, working with senior financial advisors under the supervision of Associate Lead or Lead Advisors.
• Engage with clients through regular contact, follow-ups, and supporting the new client onboarding process.
• Execute instructions from lead advisors and senior team members.
• Organize and manage client information and paperwork, particularly orders and planning documentation.
• Meet and engage with clients and potential clients.
• Commit to increasing knowledge related to wealth management.
• Represent the firm’s strategic brand and team service concept.
• Maintain familiarity with industry and economic trends; apply knowledge to client service and relationships.
• Adhere to and apply compliance standards.
• Work productively with clients, peers, and team members.
• Engage in ongoing growth of all skill sets and competencies needed to serve clients, the firm, and personal success.
Qualifications
• BA or BS degree from a four-year institution; strong interpersonal skills; self-motivated; history of personal success.
• 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong emphasis on client service, financial planning, and sales.
• Series 7 (or obtained within 60 days).
• A strong willingness to learn and take guidance from others.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and experience.
Preferred:
• Progress towards a financial services designation such as CFP or CPWA, with plans to attain CFP within three years
Location: Hybrid- 3x a week in Midtown office
Salary: $60,000 $75,000
