We are seeking an Analyst to work closely with Coldstream’s Investment Strategy Group (ISG) - several Portfolio Managers and the Chief Investment Officer. The analyst will report to the CIO and collaborate with all members of the ISG in researching, analyzing data, monitoring investments, and preparing reports.

During the training period (first month or so) there will be additional days in the Seattle office - tentatively Mondays and Fridays.
You will contribute by:
- Providing research and analysis to assist ISG in its asset allocation and manager selection decisions
- Collaborating with the CIO to prepare the quarterly ISG Investment Outlook presentation
- Updating economic and market metrics and presenting them to ISG
- Performing attribution analysis on Coldstream’s model portfolios
- Researching mutual funds in various asset classes
- Participating in the ongoing monitoring of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and private funds
- Preparing data sheets for Coldstream’s internal SMAs
- Assisting in the preparation and organization of ISG’s quarterly webcasts
- Scheduling, attending, and documenting meetings with mutual funds, SMAs, and private fund managers
- Serving as the liaison between asset managers’ investor relations staff and ISG
- Attending weekly and monthly ISG meetings, as well as the meetings of its various committees; creating and distributing meeting minutes
- Ensuring that ISG due diligence efforts are properly documented and distributed
- Supporting the CIO in collaborating with our Wealth Strategy Group to implement a combined vision and achieve consistency in investment-related communications
Experience and Skills:What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience as an analyst with an RIA, asset manager, consulting firm, or similar firm; knowledge of private investments is preferred
- 1-2 years of trading experience; experience with Tamarac is a plus
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines independently
- Experience with Bloomberg and/or Morningstar is preferred
- Series 65 (waived if you have the CFA); CFA or progress towards CFA is a plus

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts between $70k - $80k plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
