Insurance Operations Associate | Client Service Associate

· This role will start as a part-time (20 -30 hours per week role).

· The role is on-site at least four days per week.

· Ideally, the role will eventually scale to a full time position

Our client, an award winning wealth management and financial planning practice in Westport, is hiring an Insurance Operations Associate to help the team run an efficient practice.

The right candidate should have strong attention to detail, possess exceptional organizational skills and be able to create a first class client experience.

Financial services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· Own the Risk Management New Client Onboarding Process:

· Creating illustrations

· Process insurance applications

· Guide clients through the underwriting process

· Communicate with clients with process updates and action items

· Process client service requests (e.g. address changes, beneficiary changes etc.).

· Serve as a liaison between the clients and the issuing companies.

· Schedule medical exams and Attending Physician’s Statements for clients.

· Update client files in the CRM system and own status update reports.

· Assist with various projects.
