Obermeyer Wealth is seeking a full-time professional to support its director of marketing and senior leadership with a dual role in driving marketing and communications (internal and external) programs. This person will be responsible for elevating and helping to manage Obermeyer Wealth’s brand recognition, lead generation, and business development initiatives, in addition to providing clients and employees with clear communication around firm news and updates. A strong candidate should have a passion for content creation across multiple digital and multimedia platforms, website management and design, and leveraging creative skills to communicate with prospective and current clients of the firm. Above all else, they should be a strong team player with a desire to learn new skills and further their education in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the marketing director and senior leadership team to develop new business through brand awareness, referrals, and digital marketing programs.
- Understand the firm, its services, and client base to assist in the implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Create, execute, and manage marketing initiatives on a variety of different channels, both online and offline, including digital advertising and search engine optimization.
- Maintain and manage website, social media channels, and vendor relationships (e.g., digital marketing agency).
- Produce written and recorded (audio and video) content, including but not limited to presentations, blog posts, informational videos, and podcast episodes.
- Leverage technology like Mailchimp to communicate with clients, employees, and prospects.
- Help create presentations for public use; participate in business development initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing assets are current, on-brand, and aligned with the business strategy.
- Establish, track, and use performance metrics to make data-based decisions.
- Conduct in-depth market research on a product or service as well as competitor analyses.
- Work with colleagues on large projects; answer clients’ phone calls as part of a team.
- Maintain client databases and utilize workflows; leverage the firm’s technology platforms for internal efficiency and to deliver a high-touch experience.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, project management, or similar field.
- Two or more years of relevant working experience in marketing, sales, or communications.
- Financial service industry experience is preferred but not mandatory. If new to the industry, a candidate will need to display drive and eagerness to continue learning and further education.
- Strong writing skills are a must. A candidate will be asked to provide writing samples before the interview process.
- Knowledge of multimedia production and editing platforms, website management systems, social media account management, customer relationship management software, marketing automation, and Microsoft Office (e.g., Mailchimp, Adobe Premier, Photoshop, WordPress, Canva, Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and more).
- Intermediate and higher graphic design skills are strongly preferred .
- Self-starter who communicates effectively and persuasively; must be team-oriented.
- Excellent ability to build relationships and influence others, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, proficiency at prioritization, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $70K-$90K.
