ROLE DESCRIPTION
Service advisors have the responsibility for managing existing client relationships, either working as the lead advisor on the existing relationship and/or supported by a junior advisor. The position is responsible for formulating and implementing advice but may also rely on technical specialists to develop recommendations within an individual specialist’s area of expertise (planning, investments, insurance).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the Primary Relationship Manager on a subset of the firm's clients.
- Serves as the Service Manager on a subset of clients to facilitate and accelerate the Transfer of Trust process with Producing Partners.
- Delivery of financial plans and risk illustrations in client meetings.
- Collaborate with Associate Advisor/Planning team to prepare for upcoming meetings, illustrations, and necessary supporting materials.
- Accountable for recommendations and strategies ultimately presented to the existing client.
- Responsible for creating and cultivating Loyal Client Advocates through excellent relationship management and service
- Gather referrals, catch money in motion, and independently provide recommendations on planning, insurance, and investments
- Coach and develop Associate Advisors
QUALIFICATIONS |
- Bachelor’s degree with a major preferably in finance, economics, accounts, financial planning or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years in the wealth management or investment management industry.
- FINRA Series SIE, 7 & 63/65 (or obtained within 180-days)
- Life & Health License and Long Term Care License (or obtained within 180-days)
- Have at least two of the following designations (CFP, RICP, CPWA, ChFC, CFA, JD, CIMA, MBA) (or has one and working towards two)
