ROLE DESCRIPTION
A sales support position providing administrative support to two Lead Advisors whose primary responsibility is developing new business. This role works in close collaboration with other sales enabling (Associate Advisors) and operational functions (Operations Associates) to jointly achieve business development results. The ideal candidate is well organized to meet the demands of a fast-paced sales environment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as the Executive Assistant for a subset of the firm’s Lead Advisors.
· Effectively manage the Lead Advisors’ professional calendars to ensure they meet with the right prospects and clients to develop new business and serve existing clients in accordance with the firm's segmentation guidelines
· Support the prospecting activity for assigned Lead Advisors (e.g. tracking of prospective opportunities, creation and delegation of tasks related prospects) to enable the firm’s business development objectives
· Process meeting notes from Lead Advisors as necessary (e.g. when the Lead Advisor is meeting independently with a prospect or client) and create/assign tasks as necessary
· Collect, label, and properly store client files for Lead Advisors’ assigned prospects and clients
· As necessary, monitor Lead Advisors’ correspondence to prioritize the Lead Advisors’ attention and delegate correspondence/action as necessary to other team members.
· As necessary, update CRM with pertinent information on prospect and/or client obtained.
· Other duties as assigned to enable successfully business development by the firm.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor’s degree with a major preferably in finance, economics, accounts, financial planning or related field or equivalent experience.
o 3-5 years of administrative support experience.
o Preferably, 1-3 years in the wealth management or investment management industry.
o Strong attention to detail and impeccable organization
o Ability to operate in a fast-paced sales environment
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
o Proficient in CRM or related software
