Job Overview:
Lead the strategy, development, and governance of the firm's insurance offerings (life, disability income, long-term care, annuities, variable products as applicable), ensuring profitability, regulatory compliance, and superior client and advisor experiences. Build and mentor an Insurance Servicing Specialist in underwriting, product development, pricing, and policy administration; partner with advisors to deliver innovative, compliant, and competitive insurance solutions to policyowners.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, business, or related field. Advanced degree or professional designations (CLU, CFP, CFA, ASA/FSA, CPCU) preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in life insurance, disability, annuities, or related financial services; experience with a large mutual insurance company in an insurance-related role preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:Deep understanding of life insurance products, riders, disability income insurance, long-term care, annuities, and related regulatory considerations
- Experience with policy illustrations and risk classification
- Knowledge of state insurance laws, NAIC guidelines, and regulatory filing processes
- Proficiency with policy administration systems, underwriting tools, and data analytics (SQL, Excel, BI tools) is a plus
- Leadership and Collaboration:Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and partner effectively across all areas of a team
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
- Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex concepts clearly to executives, fiduciaries, field leadership and clients

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a large mutual insurer or a similar platform with a strong emphasis on policyowner value and field collaboration
- Prior supervisory experience in a regulatory environment
