Lead Advisor is a wealth management consulting and search firm. This role is for a client in Manhattan Beach.
The role is 3x a week on site.
Candidates MUST have their CFP and client facing advisor experience.
Our client is seeking a CFP to be a private wealth advisor. The role is to manage a client relationship segment for a growing firm.
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
○ Meet with existing clients to review and update financial plans in alignment with their evolving goals and the current market/economic landscape.
○ Identify and recommend new planning strategies, investment opportunities, and financial solutions within client discussions.
○ Build long-term client relationships, including potential referrals to second-generation clients and prospective clients.
FINANCIAL PLANNING & STRATEGY
○ Work closely with internal Operations and Planning teams to develop and refine financial plans for both new and existing clients.
○ Provide strategic input on financial plans, ensuring they align with the client's timeline, risk tolerance, and financial goals.
○ Synthesize multiple areas of financial planning into a holistic strategy, including:
■ Investment planning
■ Retirement planning & income distribution strategies
■ Estate planning concepts
■ Insurance analysis (life, disability, long-term care)
■ Asset & liability management
■ Tax implications & optimization strategies
■ Education funding & major purchase planning
■ Business planning and succession strategies
COLLABORATION & TEAMWORK:
○ Partner with internal financial planners to design and deliver comprehensive financial plans. Advisors focus on strategy and execution of the plan.
○ Work collaboratively within the firm to enhance client experience and optimize financial outcomes. Qualifications
○ Bachelor’s Degree
○ CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation
○ Operates with a caring and collaborative attitude
○ Ability to be in our Manhattan Beach office 3x/week (this is a hybrid role)
○ 5+ years of experience in investment strategy, client relationship management, and financial planning within a broker-dealer or FINRA-registered environment. FINRA registration is required to be an advisor (minimum FINRA series 7, SIE, 63 (or 65,66) or willingness to obtain within the first six months)
○ Strong consultative and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits •
Total Compensation range: $164,000 – $280,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
