Lead Advisor
Role Profile Summary
The Lead Advisor role is responsible for the retention of existing client relationships and development of new business opportunities. A Lead Advisor is responsible for delivering complex financial planning and wealth strategies to clients and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the Primary Relationship Manager on a subset of existing clients.
- Serves as the Service Manager on a subset of clients to facilitate and accelerate the Transfer of Trust process with Private Wealth Advisors and Producing Partners.
- Expertly perform all functions of an Associate Advisor.
- Develop and maintain client niches.
- Consistently maintain production requirements determined by tenure in the business.
Team Management & Development
- Manages, mentors, and develops Team Members within their Pod.
Business Development
- Contributes to the building of the brand through active participation in marketing, professional, and charitable initiatives organized by the firm and a strong community presence.
- Responsible for creating and cultivating Loyal Client Advocates and Professional Advocates.
Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, economics, accounts, financial planning or related field or equivalent experience.
- 7-15 years in the wealth management or investment management industry.
- Have at least two of the following designations with one being primary.
- Primary: CFP, CPWA, CFA, JD
- Secondary: MBA, MSFS, RICP, ChFC, CIMA
- FINRA Series 7 & 63/65 (or obtained within 120-days)
- Life & Health License (or obtained within 120-days)
