The role of the Financial Advisor's Assistant is to provide all aspects of risk product sales support to new financial representatives to ensure their focus remains on client building. Ongoing support for financial representatives and advisors beyond their first year is also provided.
Your responsibilities, as a SET Associate, include the following:
· Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all Financial Representatives supported.
· Manage underwriting process:
o Prepare and submit insurance applications
o Schedule medical exams and additional requirements, as needed
o Manage underwriting process by actively following up on outstanding items on the Daily Status Report (DSR)
· Process policy maintenance and other risk product service requests.
· Monitor all requests for completion and follow-up on any action items.
· Prepare and manage client communications.
· Create feed lists, research contact information for prospecting lists, and generate cross-sell reports.
· Collect and input or upload client meeting notes as needed.
· Participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings to disseminate and gather information for the betterment of the representatives, the team, and the office.
Qualifications, education, and relevant experience required:
· Life, Accident, and Health (LAH) insurance license required within 3 months of start date.
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.
· Commitment to professional development (licensing, registration, designations, and continuous learning).
Location: 5x a week in Stamford office
Salary: 45-60k
