Our client, an award-winning wealth management and planning practice in Westport, is hiring a lead financial advisor to continue to deliver first class service to their clients.
The primary responsibility of the lead financial advisor is to attract new clients to the practice and assist them in their comprehensive planning needs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience as a client facing financial advisor and a passion for the planning process. They will be a process-driven, detailed-oriented, highly structured individual who thrives in a high-performance culture focused on personal and professional development.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· The primary focus of this role is to master the planning, investment, and communication philosophies of the practice using proprietary methods, processes, and procedures.
· Work with a small, existing client segment to update financial plans and recommendations, ensure a first-class experience, and foster referrals and introductions.
· Within the first 9 months, the advisor will be expected to drive business development efforts utilizing their own network and creativity to attract new clients to the practice.
· Supported by a world-class operations and planning team, the role will lead client strategies and planning and be the primary point of contact for clients within the practice.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 3+ years of client facing, prospecting and financial planning experience.
· Series 7 and 66 and LAH insurance license
· CFP ® designation
