Job description
An established financial planning team is seeking an Associate Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) in the preparation and implementation of financial planning (50% investment and 50% risk management focused). Insurance background preferred although not requisite for this opportunity as comprehensive training/support provided.
This is a hybrid/remote opportunity (Lombard, IL office) with comprehensive benefits, small team environment and unlimited growth opportunities.
Primary duties include maintaining insurance onboarding workflow, processing client investment trades and facilitation of client service requests.
Job responsibilities:
- All insurance planning operations
- Insurance Underwriting
- Education planning oversight
- Running insurance ledgers, submitting applications, facilitate underwriting.
- Investment account trading
- Amending plan funding, internal transfers, tax-loss harvesting
- Estate Plan funding/titling
- Building/ modifying from proprietary client planning software
- Compliance communication
- Internal Team meeting collaboration
- Basic internal trading operations
- OneDrive Management on weekly meeting cadence
- Running CRM reports and tracking opportunities
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of financial planning experience required
- Series 7 and 66 required.
- Life and Health Insurance licensed (or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days)
- Growth-focused with a passion for comprehensive planning
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting to clients in person and virtually
- Proactive mindset to solve problems
- Industry designations or willingness to obtain CFP
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

COMPENSATION
- Base salary of $75,000-$90,000 (based on experience and licensing) + bonus after six months
- Flex/remote work 1-2 days a week after initial 90-day onboarding
