Job Summary

This position is a support position that will work in an administrative capacity for new financial representatives in their first 3 years. The Sales Execution Team member is a position that requires a dynamic individual who possesses both organizational and interpersonal skills. This individual must also be able to maintain strict confidences and keep all information confidential. Will also provide training to both new representatives as well as new associates/staff. This position will travel to one of our suburban offices once a week.

Key Responsibilities

Organization

Act as an “Organization Coach” to help reps stay focused on their daily activities.

Administrative

Set up cubicles for new representatives prior to their start date
Send client correspondence (including letters and emails)
Create insurance file folders for clients
General POS and CSS service requests
Assist the new reps in achieving BAP benchmarks
Manage tasks from case notes in client management database
Input qualified suspects into client management database
Create call lists and follow-up dates in client management database
Complete service forms

Marketing

Run birthday and age change reports
Order business cards, stationary, marketing materials and general office supplies

New Business

Call medical examiners to set up medicals with clients
Review and submit applications and submit to the appropriate individuals
Follow up on cases in underwriting including contacting the client for outstanding requirements
Prepare policies to be delivered by representative and obtain Policy Delivery Acknowledgement from clients

General

Facilitate training with financial representatives and associates
Provide office backup assistance as needed (reception and office assistant tasks)

Minimum Job Requirements

Associate agent contract/Life & Health Insurance licenses within 90 days
General insurance and investment experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of computer technology, specifically Windows, Outlook and navigating the internet
Customer Service and/or marketing experience preferred
Good interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to develop and maintain rapport with professionals at all levels
Proven ability to independently set schedules and handle multiple priority assignments with strict deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality is essential
Ability to use high degree of diplomacy in handling difficult situations
Team oriented

Location: 3x a week in Chicago office

Salary: 50-55k
