Job Description: Client Wealth Advisor is a new role at NPM focused on helping the approximately 20,000 clients that participate each year on our platform successfully navigate the complex world of financial advisory services. Given many clients on the NPM platform are private company employees and shareholders experiencing their first ever Wealth event, NPM must continue to be an objective, unconflicted source of education for these clients. This role will be directly interfacing with hundreds of NPM clients and private company leadership to provide them the information they need to select the right Wealth partner that will create a tailored investment strategy to help ensure their long-term financial wellness. The ability to educate clients in a consultative way on the various solutions for comprehensive financial advice, tax guidance, estate planning and even legal assistance is critical.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree
- 3-5 years minimum experience in the Wealth Management / Financial Advisory / Financial Services Sales space with a firm understanding of the current Private Wealth ecosystem, competitive landscape, and various service models.
- Collect client financial information, analyze and evaluate client’s financial situation, identify investment objectives, and make recommendations to use one of Nasdaq Private Market’s wealth partner products
- Contact and consult clients in affluent households with significant holdings to provide them with education around potential solutions for their financial planning needs
- Provide advice on a variety of investment solutions
- Assist company executives and directors with basic answers to equity compensation questions and information around their various forms
- Ideal candidate would have completed Financial Advisor training at a top firm.
- Strong sales and intra-personal skills are required, with the ability to succeed in a fast paced, dynamic, and highly entrepreneurial environment.
- Series 65 or 66 strongly required.
