The Associate Advisor / Planning Specialist will be responsible for creating financial plans and recommendations for the practice. The ideal candidate will have the CFP ® designation and a passion for advanced planning.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Interpret client situations, conduct research and work with software to build customized financial plans for clients.
- Ensure case preparation is done in a first class and timely manner. This includes research and planning recommendations completed for the Senior Advisor.
- Potentially, sit in client meetings to present the plan and educate the client on certain recommendations.
- Ensure all notes are confidentially kept in the right files and CRM systems. They are also responsible for proactive thinking, research and planning updates for the client’s situation.
- Be the primary point of contact for triaging questions and other touchpoints in between review meetings.
- The Associate Advisor will be responsible for relationship management for a certain segment of clients over time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of financial planning experience
- Certified Financial Planner
- Series 7 and 66 (or willingness to get within the first six months)
- Life and Health Insurance license (or willingness to get within the first six months)
